Groupon has worked closely with The Little Snail for many years, so we thought we'd ask Owner, Stephen Lee, about why he chose Groupon and why he continues to work with us to drive business to his restaurant.

The Challenge

A French fine dining restaurant in Pyrmont, The Little Snail were searching for an advertising and marketing platform that would be cost-effective and far-reaching. Stephen chose Groupon because it was a trusted, global brand with strong market presence. For the Little Snail - like many restaurant - the weekday trade is always inconsistent and Groupon’s aim was to assist Stephen in evening out trade throughout the week.

The Result

The Little Snail found that running a Groupon campaign allowed them to run a consistent business every day of the week. Their initial campaign sold 6000 vouchers, therefore expanding their customer base significantly. Stephen also found that Groupon customers tend to spend an addition 15-20% when dining, which contributes even more to his business’ bottom line. Groupon continues to work with The Little Snail to help them maintain a steady flow of new and returning customers.
