There’s an eligibility criteria for members, to ensure Car Next Door stays safe and trustworthy! You must be over 18, hold a full unrestricted license, have a satisfactory credit history and have had no license suspensions or disqualifications in the last five years. I’m an international driver, can I join Car Next Door?

Yes! You just need a full unrestricted license from your home country, with a formal translation of necessary.

Do I need a smartphone to join Car Next Door?

Although it’s easiest to use Car Next Door with the app, you can still join without a smartphone. You’ll be emailed the details of your booking 15 minutes before your trip, and you can end your trip via SMS.

How do I amend my Car Next Door booking?

Just log in to your account on the app or website, and go to the ‘rips’ section to manage or cancel your booking. You can do this for free up to 48 hours before your trip starts, or within 1 hour of making your booking.
