A Schwarzkopf Professional salon offering a complete range of hairdressing services, Tranquile Salon was established in Perth, Western Australia in mid-2015.
When looking for a marketing platform to promote their brand and salon offerings, owner and principal styliste Rezala believed Groupon was the best way forward.
“We really wanted to announce our presence and found Groupon a great platform to use as it offers such a big audience,” Rezala said.
“Our Groupon campaign gave the salon exposure and let people know where we are, really putting the salon on the map, and now clients find us more easily.
“This has allowed us to build up a paying clientele, as while more clients found us because of Groupon, some came back as full paying customers, which was wonderful!”
Rezala said she also enjoyed the support of her sales representative, saying “she has been amazing in assisting me, very helpful!”
“If you’re planning to use Groupon as a marketing channel for your business, I would advise to treat Groupon clients just as you would any walk-in customer. After all, you’re using Groupon to bring new clients to your business and it’s the perfect opportunity to showcase your salon or whatever your service is.”
