Zio's Restaurant
Located in a Victorian Terrace in the heart of East Melbourne, Zio's Restaurant offers simple European cuisines with a hint of Asian influence. Feature favourites include the Seafood Degustation, the Trio of Duck and the Chocolatte Souffle. The boutique restaurant has been open for 20 years and is suitable for functions and weddings.
The host Yacob has worked in the hospitality industry for 25 years in venues including Maxins, Mietta's, Le Restaurant, Chandelier Room at Menzies Rialto, L'Alouette, Enzo and Nickelby's Restaurant's. The head chef, Trieu, has accrued experience in establishments such as Maxim's, Melbourne Oyster Bar, Cafe Jardin, Frenchy's and Enzo Restaurant.

We have just arrived home after yet another fantastic dining experience at Zio's Ristorante in East Melbourne. We are great fans of this lovely restaurant and have been regulars for many years. The menu is innovative with plenty of choices for everyone including the gluten free folk! We are never disappointed. The food is really good, there are plenty of choices on the wine menu and the service is fantastic. A fine choice for those who enjoy the pleasures of fine dining like we do.

Very pleasant Winter Lunch for two couples last Friday. We found the degustation menu to be of excellent variety and quality, delivered in quiet and intimate surroundings, by efficient and pleasant staff. The bonus of a substantial deduction with a Groupon voucher made it even better.
