Uber is changing the way people move. Much like a private driver, the Uber smartphone app gives you the ability to request a car to take you from A to B. From the moment you request a ride to the moment you arrive, the Uber experience has been designed from the ground up with your safety in mind.
How It Works
From a mobile device:
(1) Download the Uber app for iPhone, Android or Windows Phone
(2) Navigate to promotions tab and apply promo code. This can be found on your Groupon Voucher and is a digital code starting with “GPR”
(3) Order your Uber. Select your pick-up location in the Uber app, and your your first ride will be free up to $25
From a desktop:
(1) Create an Uber account https://get.uber.com/sign-up/
(2) Enter your Groupon voucher code when prompted, a digital code starting with ‘‘GPR’‘
(3) Download the Uber app on an iPhone, Android or Windows device and log into your new account
(4) When you’re ready to ride hit ‘Request’
Fine Print
• Limit of 1 code per Uber account
• Valid for new Uber users only
• Credit may be used over one ride only
• Discount will apply automatically at the end of your first trip and can be seen on your receipt
• Excludes UberTAXI
• Offer cannot be exchanged for cash
• No refund for change of mind
• Rides are subject to availability outside of the primary service areas above and longer wait times should be expected
• New Uber riders must download the Uber app, create an account, read and accept Uber’s terms and conditions, and provide valid credit card information to sign up for service and redeem voucher
• Registered credit cards will be charged for any ride fares that exceed the $25 credit
• Uber rates can be found on the website at www.uber.com/cities/
• Uber reserves the right to refuse fulfilment of the credit for fraudulently created accounts
