One-Day Thredbo Snow Tour

Keen snow bunnies embark on a short but sweet adventure on our 1-Day Thredbo Snow Tours, traveling from City OR Parramatta to the Snowy Mountains overnight. Set off on a comfortable coach, boasting reclining seats sure to help you grab a few hours of shut-eye before the action kicks off. An early morning arrival in Jindabyne for an ideal time to hire discounted snow gear before hitting the slopes at Thredbo. Once arriving at Thredbo, you’ll have 7.5 hours of free time to ski or snowboard. We will make track back to Sydney at 3 pm with a dinner stop along the way before disembarking at around 9.45 pm.

The Itinerary:

23:20PM – Corner of Argyle Street & Church Street, Parramatta
Guests are welcomed aboard. They are advised to allow at least 20 minutes prior to departure to meet their local guide for the day. Once all guests have arrived, the journey will begin southbound onto the Hume Highway towards Jindabyne.

23:20PM – Corner of Darling Drive & Ultimo Road, Haymarket
Guests are welcomed aboard. They are advised to allow at least 20 minutes prior to departure to meet their local guide for the day. Once all guests have arrived, the journey will begin southbound onto the Hume Highway towards Thredbo.

05:00AM – Ski Hire Jindabyne
Upon arrival in Jindabyne, guests will have the opportunity to hire ski gear (at their own expense) and purchase any last-minute items before continuing the journey to Thredbo. Morning refreshments will also be available to start the day.

07:15AM – Arrive at Thredbo
Guests will arrive at Thredbo, where the bus will drop them off. They will have more than 7 hours of free time to enjoy at their leisure.

15:00PM – Depart Thredbo
It will be time to head back. Guests can enjoy a scenic drive back to Sydney, with the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the sunset along the way.

18:45PM – Dinner Stop (Goulburn)
A 40-minute dinner stop will be made on the way back to Sydney, giving guests the chance to grab a quick bite. Dinner options include McDonald's, Subway, a Kebab shop (halal), Olivers, Indian takeaway, Red Rooster, and a service station.

21:45PM – Corner of Argyle Street & Church Street, Parramatta
Guests will arrive back in Parramatta.

21:50PM – Drop off point – Corner of Darling Drive & Ultimo Rd, Haymarket
Guests will arrive back in Haymarket.

It is no less lively in the summer months, when wildflowers bloom across broad alpine meadows, and the sun transforms the mountains into an ideal place for walkers, horse riders, fishing enthusiasts, and Groupies who just want to relax.

No matter the time of year, there are plenty of action-packed activities taking place in Thredbo Village. Skiing and snowboarding are the obvious options for winter, with the ski slopes open for kids and adults alike, and varied terrain for snow bunnies of all experience levels. When the sun comes out and the snow melts away, jump on a mountain bike, go for a walk, play a round of golf, or enjoy bird’s eye mountain views from the chairlift.
