Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast

Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast offers a world class line-up of pools and slides to suit all ages and thrill-seeking levels. Those keen to jump into the action straight away can experience the tightest turns in the world on the Constrictor. This snake-inspired slide features 360° coils and speeds of up to 30km/h that lead up to a final dumping into the waters below. Those in search of a further adrenaline rush take on the AquaLoop slide. This experience begins when the trapdoor is released, sending riders plummeting and accelerating into a massive vertical free fall. The Extreme H2O Zone is also not for the faint hearted, boasting attractions like the Tornado, Blackhole, Mach 5 and Kamikaze.

For a slower change of pace, head to the River Rapids at White Water Mountain or drift round a tropical paradise at Calypso Beach. Younger children don’t miss out with the age-appropriate attractions of Wet’n’Wild Junior. Designed especially for little adventurers, this new zone includes miniature versions of larger thrill slides like Tornado and the Aqua Racers. It also features a multi-level interactive play structure complete with a giant tipping bucket, which is sure to attract plenty of squeals.

We had a blast and wanted to go back for another visit. The queues were very small and we got to do every slide/rides multiple times. We did everything from the aqua racer, aqua loop (awesome speed and scary with the 3,2,1 countdown and then a vertical drop after the floor drops out), river rapids, constrictor, tornado, black hole plus many more. This park is totally cool and you can also bring in your own packed lunch...
