Moonlit Sanctuary is home to over 70 Australian species. Including over 60 kangaroos and wallabies that are free to roam the bush and give visitors a rare natural encounter, while others are housed in large natural enclosures.
The critically endangered orange-bellied parrot, red-bellied pademelons, southern bettongs, spot-tailed quolls and Tasmanian devils are all protected at Moonlit Sanctuary, a winner of the Victorian Tourism Awards in Ecotourism.
Open every day of the year except Christmas Day from 9:30am to 4pm. A ticket buys admission only for visitors finding their own way to Moonlit Sanctuary by private car or other means. Your ticket includes the daily keeper presentations and wildlife show as well as the chance to get close to iconic Australian wildlife in natural bushland surroundings.
Moonlit Sanctuary is proud to be ecotourism accredited by Ecotourism Australia and animal welfare accredited by the Zoo Aquarium Association.
