Two Groupies take charge of the hot stone grill at their table and choose anything from the menu to cook to perfection themselves. Diners can start with the likes of oysters mornay or field mushroom tapas before facing the difficult decision of what meat or seafood main to team with the hot stone. Tantalising meats on offer include wagu steak, t-bone or a BBQ mixed grill with rump, Black Angus rib, chicken and lamb cutlet. Seafood lovers can choose Tasmanian salmon and seafood mixed grill. If the decision between meat or seafood gets too much, diners can choose a dish that teams them both such as earth and sea or filet mignon; eye fillet wrapped in bacon and stuffed with Coffin Bay oysters. Groupies are also free to use their credit on sides, desserts, like sticky date pudding or tiramisu or hot and cold beverages.

Stones Restaurants

Stones Restaurants specialise in steaks, ribs and seafood cooked on hot stones. Based on a traditional Mongolian cooking method, diners cook their meat and vegetables to their own preference on a 20cm square stone slab heated to 300 degrees. Stones Restaurants operates four locations across Queensland and is also available for functions.

...The food was beautiful, service was prompt and friendly, even though our waitress was obviously new. Atmosphere felt like we were having dinner at a friends house, very comfortable. Will be going back again! Love the fact it is byo. Seafood was fresh and the meat nicely seasoned. Homey, up market feel.
