La Notte
Since 1985, La Notte has been serving up traditional Italian fare in Lygon Street. The cuisine is inspired by traditional food found in Southern Italy combined with fresh Australian produce that comes from local suppliers. The restaurant has an al fresco dining area as well as a function room for private parties, seminars and meetings.

we had dinner at la Notte twice Monday night n Wednesday night steaks were perfectly cooked and also we had few pasta great taste...

Having frequented many of the Lygon strip Italian restaurants over the years, I can say that on the few occasions I have been to La Notte I have really enjoyed the outdoor dining atmosphere and service from the staff.
