The Experience

Participants of this one-day tour to the New South Wales' region of Orange have a chance to experience some slow-paced farm life and pick their own cherries from one of the local orchards. Breathing crisp fresh air, both adults and kids can enjoy time amongst nature and have fun with friends and family. On the way, the bus stops at the Blue Mountain Echo Point, where participants can take some photos. On the spot, Groupies may also taste some locally-produced wines. 

The Itinerary

• 7:00 a.m. – City Pickup

  • City Pickup is located at 24 Rawson Place, Haymarket. Stand in front of Service NSW at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time.

• 7:40 p.m. – Parramatta Pickup

  • Parramatta Pickup is located at the corner of Argyle Street & Church Street, Parramatta. Stand Infront of Westfield main entrance at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time.

• 9:00 a.m. – Echo Point (3 Sisters)

  • We will make a quick a stop at Echo Point and witness a breathtaking view of the Blue Mountains’ Jamison Valley and the iconic Three Sisters. 20-minute  will be provided for this particular stop.

• 11:00 a.m. – Mount Panorama/Lunch at Bathurst

  • Bathurst is home to the Bathurst 1000 V8 supercar race. We will drive through Mount Panorama circuit before heading to town for an early lunch. Lunch options are McDonalds, KFC or Hungry Jacks. 45 minutes will be provided for lunch.

• 1:00 p.m. – Cherry Picking

  • It’s time to finally pick some fresh juicy cherries! 2 hours and 15 minute will be provided for this particular stop.

• 7:20 p.m. – Parramatta drop off

• 8:00p.m. – City drop off

The Area: Orange, NSW

Situated about four hours' drive west of Sydney, the region of Orange welcomes holidaymakers with picturesque landscapes, slow-paced farms, and wineries, as well as a number of restaurants that serve up dishes based on locally-sourced produce. The area is known for the fertile volcanic soils ideal for cultivating olives, grapes, apples, and cherries. Visitors to Orange can tuck into local specialties during the food festivals organized regularly, or shop the farmers' markets popular all year round.

History lovers can explore the city of Orange, neoclassical buildings and churches. They may follow the City Heritage Trail boasting about 40 historical sites and visit the Orange Regional Gallery to discover some local culture. Active types can also choose to hit one of the trails that lead to the summit of the old volcanic peak, Mt Canobolas.
