The Experience: Highlights of Vietnam

Savour a nice lunch while taking in the views of the limestone islands before discovering what Halong bay has to offer with a kayaking trip on the calm waters. Visit Soi Sim island for a short swim or climb up one of the peaks for a breathtaking panoramic view of Halong Bay. 

Waking at sunrise on day three, guests start the day with early breakfast, a session of tai chi and a visit to Sung Sot Cave. A cooking demonstration and traditional lunch onboard brings the cruise to a pleasant end around midday, before the tour returns to Hanoi. 

Day Four begins with a drive to the Ninh Binh Province before arriving at the Hoa Lu ancient capital. Here travellers will visit King Dinh and King Le’s temples before arriving at Tam Coc wharf. Appetites are then appeased with an authentic Vietnamese buffet lunch. Travellers jump into sampan boats for a ride through dark caves and a look at Vietnam’s natural countryside landscape. After a short rest back at Tam Coc Wharf, folks take a bike ride to Bich Dong before getting on a bus back to Hanoi. Day five is yours to spend at leisure until it’s time to head to the airport.
