The Hotel: Abode Murrumbateman
Nestled in the heart of the Murrumbateman wine region, Abode Murrumbateman welcomes guests with well-appointed accommodation just a few minutes walk to local farmers markets, bakeries, cafes, parks and visitors' centres. The hotel is an ideal base for exploring local wineries where guests can experience some wine tasting and unwind amongst nature. On site, guests can enjoy a flexible foyer space and fully equipped shared kitchen facilities, as well as Abode Pantry that offers food and drinks.
Holidaymakers can relax in one of 50 elegant rooms featuring bright colour tones and large windows. All rooms are air-conditioned and come fitted out with flat-screen TVs and tea- and coffee-making facilities. There are also irons and ironing boards for guests' convenience. Some of the rooms offer private terrace spaces with an outdoor seating.
Abode Hotels provide a full-service room clean every 3rd day of our guests stay. If you wish to receive daily or additional room cleans, please ask our reception team on check in or prior to arrival. For guests staying at Abode Hotels for 7 or more nights, you will receive one full-service clean every 7th day.

The Area: Murrumbateman, NSW
Situated only 20 km south of Yass and approximately 30 kilometres north-west of Canberra, Murrumbateman region is a part of the Yass Valley Shire known for a large number of vineyards. Visitors to Murrumbateman can explore local wineries, indulge in some wine tasting experiences and enjoy local food sold by the small producers and offered in cosy eateries.
Yass Valley area itself offers plenty of leisure time opportunities. Holidaymakers can enjoy numerous walking and cycling paths and unwind amongst natural surroundings. Thrill seekers can discover an underground world of Carey’s Caves, while those keen on camping can spend the night under the stars at Wee Jasper Reserves.
