What do the pods do?

Float pods have proven in the past to accelerate healing, and boost endorphins. Studies have showed that by floating, it reduces cortisol which is a stress hormone and improves magnesium deficiency. Great for anxiety sufferers, as well as a Chronic muscular and joint inflammation sufferers, due to the 500kgs of magnesium salts that you float in, it helps ease joint inflammation, and decrease sensitivity and tension in muscles.

What to expect during your session?

In a standard session of floating, especially the first, you may find it difficult to 'switch off'. This only lasts a few minutes. The good thing is, once your body gets used to the floating and silence, sensory deprivation helps induce a deep state of relaxation (also called a “relaxation response” or RR) by turning down the body's “fight or flight” stress response. Staff will guide and provide all the instructions for the best float experience possible.

V2 Max Dream Pod

On the inside, a high power lighting system provides soothing and beautiful light animations during idle times or during a float. The light can be controlled via a button on the inside of the Dreampod Max. Two tactile transducers embedded into the front of the pod provide for excellent underwater acoustics. To get the full affect of the sensory deprivation feeling, you can shut the lid, turn the lights and music off, and lie down in silence, enjoying the zero gravity, practically weightless feeling of your body floating.
