Bierkeller

Bierkeller started off as a dream of owner Rob Hagen, an Australian with Austrian parents, resulting in the authentic menu with a twist that he developed while working in a ski lodge in Austria. The restaurant’s arched timber ceiling and walls decorated with references to Austrian history and traditional fairytales will inspire diners as they enjoy a stein, while outside seating and occasional accordion players dressed in lederhosen invite return visits by homesick expats and those looking for a hearty meal. The menu includes dishes like beer pretzels, meatballs, schnitzels, beef goulash, sausages, sauerkraut, pommes frites, with warm apple strudel for dessert.

Finally came here for brunch after walking past so many times, and was pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of the breakfast offerings. Service was a little on the slow side, but the food definitely made up for it. Highly recommend the Bierkeller Eggs (pumpkin scramble). So. Good.
