Age Restrictions

Participants must be a minimum of 6 years old. Participants must sign a general release waiver. Guests under 18 years old will need a parent or legal guardian to sign the waiver. Kids aged 6-9 must be accompanied on the inflatables by a paying adult. All Aqua Park Participants must be able to swim.

How long does an Aqua Fun Park session last?

Each session runs for 50 minutes Sessions start every hour on the hour.

Parking

There is plenty of free parking at the park. Melbourne Cable Park does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to any vehicle in the car park.

Lockers are Available

Lockers are located at Climb, Aqua & Main Ticket Office. All-day access – $9.

Changing Facilities

We have toilets, change rooms, and outdoor showers.

Is there a café?

We have a café and a fully licensed bar in the visitor's center. No external food, drink, alcohol, or glass may be brought into the Park.

What should I wear?

Lifejackets are mandatory for everyone using the Aqua Fun Park. A rental lifejacket is included in the ticket price. We recommend that you also wear a rash vest for sun protection. No footwear of any kind is allowed on the inflatables.

Clothing

Please make sure you dress appropriately for your activity and the weather conditions on the day. We recommend all participants and guests apply plenty of sunscreen and wear a hat and appropriate clothing for hot, sunny days.

Lifeguards

The Aqua Fun Park is supervised by lifeguards. They start each session with a safety briefing. The lifeguards oversee general safety on and around the Aqua Fun Park. Parents are responsible for their children at all times and should continue to supervise them at the Aqua Fun Park.

Can I bring my GoPro to the Aqua Fun Park?

You are welcome to bring a GoPro to the Aqua Fun Park but we recommend that you bring a floating case or wrist attachment. Melbourne Cable Park accepts no responsibility for lost items. If it falls off there is very little chance of it being recovered from the lake.

Can I take part if I have a medical condition or if I’m pregnant?

Pregnant women will not be permitted to take part in our activities. If you have a medical condition, please consult your doctor before undertaking any activities at Melbourne Cable Park. You are responsible for ensuring you are fit enough to participate.

Weather

We aim to have the park open as many days a year as possible. We will only restrict our activities or close the park if the weather makes it dangerous to operate, for example: in very high winds or electrical storms.

Dogs

No dogs, except registered service dogs, are allowed on our premises. Most of our grassed areas have guests and children running around barefooted and sitting on grassed areas. Please speak to staff if you wish to bring a registered service dog to the Park (03 8780 7777)

Is there an entry fee for spectators?

There is no charge for spectators accompanying paying guests. All guests will be required to sign a waiver on entry.
