Asti Restaurant and Bar is a stylish eatery helmed by French Michelin star chef Mathieu Astier, who originally trained under the famed Joel Robuchon at his three-Michelin-star restaurant in Monaco. Dining duos are treated to a lavish, four-course fine dining experience in the restaurants elegant surrounds, with the option of upgrading their feast to include a glass of wine each. The meal kicks off with an antipasto platter to share, piled high with prosciutto di parma, Ligurian olives, extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic di Modena for dipping, followed by an entrée each, choosing from ravioli filled with buffalo ricotta and spinach, drizzled with a capsicum coulis; Carpaccio of aged beef, parmesan cheese, capers and mayonnaise; or house-made chicken pate with fig chutney and crostini. Once tastebuds are warmed up, Groupies are treated to a choice of main: chicken and mushroom risotto; whole Queensland free-range roasted spatchcock; roasted pork loin cutlet with a mustard glaze and sweet pear relish; or 100-day grain fed beef with a choice of red wine jus, mushroom, peppercorn or spicy Thai sauce. To finish the meal, sweet-toothed peeps relish a choice of affogato with vanilla bean gelato and a shot of Italian espresso, or mixed Sicilian gelato.



Located in Pyrmont’s buzzing Jackson’s Landing, Asti Restaurant and Bar is a recently opened eatery located in a stylish, heritage-listed cottage, which retains its original façade.
