About YMCA - Essendon

Part of the Cooper Street Community Centre, Moonee Valley YMCA Gymnastics Club is a Gymnastics Facilitycentre for children of all ages. Offering recreational, educational and competitive classes, a team of experienced coaches invites young members of all abilities to join them for a workout. Aspiring gymnasts can learn numerous manoeuvres like saults, handstands and cartwheels, all using professional equipment including beams, vaults, p-bars and uneven bars, as well as an Olympic-size trampoline. The older pupils can develop leadership skills and get to know something about responsibility as a part of the Junior Coaching Program during which they take care of the younger colleagues.
