I am a disabled patron who is unable to sit up straight for extended periods. We hired a private karaoke room. A male staff member entered our room advising he is the manager and said that I could not lie down. I explained that I couldn’t sit up due to a disability, and he replied that if I didn’t sit up he’d call security. Security arrived and of course realised that asking a disabled person to sit up straight is not only rude, but also discriminatory… and of course allowed me to lay down. I remain appalled by the managers offensive behaviour and would like to see him retrained on customer service and lawful duty of care.
